Returns Policy

At Hair Supplies, your satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent service. This Returns Policy complies with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) to ensure your rights are protected.

Your Consumer Rights:

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if the product you purchased:

  • Is faulty

  • Is unsafe

  • Is not of acceptable quality

  • Does not match its description

  • Fails to perform as promised

Depending on the issue, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. The remedy will depend on whether the fault is major or minor.

Faulty or Defective Products:

If you believe your item is faulty or defective:

  1. Contact us via email at returns@hairsupplies.com.au or by phone at 08 9469 1100 with your order or invoice number, description of the issue, and photos if possible.

  2. We may ask you to return the product for assessment.

For major faults: you can choose between a refund or a replacement. For minor faults: we may repair or replace the item within a reasonable time.

Change of Mind Returns:

While not required under Australian Consumer Law, we offer a 14-day change of mind policy as a goodwill gesture.

Eligibility:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

  • Return request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Return postage is at the customer's expense.

Items not eligible for change of mind returns include:

  • Hair brushes and combs

  • Hair extensions

  • Scissors and clippers

  • Electrical items

  • Personal care products

  • Clearance and sale items

How to Return an Item:

  1. Email returns@hairsupplies.com.au with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We will provide a Return Authorisation (RA) number and instructions.

  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.

  4. Clearly mark the RA number on the parcel.

  5. Send the parcel to the address provided.

Refunds & Processing Time:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after receiving and inspecting the return.

  • We will notify you once your return is processed.

Return Shipping Costs:

  • Hair Supplies covers return postage for faulty or incorrect items.

  • Customers are responsible for return postage on change of mind returns.
